Website analytics notice
Effective October 1, 2026. This notice describes first-party website analytics for Desert Peak Capital Partners LLC.
Information collected
When a browser sends an analytics event, we record the page visited, event time, network IP address, approximate city/region/country derived from that address, browser and device category, referring website domain, and campaign labels included in the URL. We also measure contact-link clicks, form starts and successful inquiry submissions. We do not record form-field contents, full referring URLs, exact device coordinates, keystrokes or payment information in analytics.
We also estimate active time on each page and across visits using periodic timing updates. The timer counts only when the page is visible and focused, and pauses after 60 seconds without interaction. We detect that scrolling, pointer movement or keyboard interaction occurred, but do not record key values, pointer coordinates or form contents. Hidden-tab time is excluded. Timing is approximate and may be incomplete when updates are blocked or a browser closes before delivery.
Purpose and access
We use this information to understand traffic sources, website performance and interest in our services. Analytics are available only through our private dashboard. We do not use advertising cookies for this tracker. Approximate location is looked up in a database on our server; visitor IPs are not transmitted to a separate geolocation service. Hosting providers process network requests as part of operating the website.
Analytics records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database separate from our website deployment. To retry interrupted deliveries, the tracker may temporarily queue up to 40 analytics events in your browser's session storage for up to 24 hours, or until that tab's session ends. Queued events do not contain form-field values. Blocking scripts, closing the session before delivery, or an extended service outage can still prevent collection.
Retention and choices
Raw IP addresses are removed from analytics after 30 days, and event records are retained for up to 366 days under the default configuration to support annual reporting. The tracker respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. It also requires JavaScript; blockers may prevent events from being collected. These settings apply to the analytics system, not necessarily to separate infrastructure security logs or information you submit to us directly.
Limits and contact
IP addresses identify networks rather than specific people. Location estimates can be inaccurate, particularly for VPNs, mobile carriers and shared connections. Questions about this analytics notice or requests concerning your information can be directed to sales@desertpeakcp.com.
